TNW València 2023: a summary of the event, technology, startups and valuable connections.

Hello Tetuaneros!

Today I come to tell you about my experience at TNW València, where we were partners and participants.

If you are an entrepreneur eager for innovation, an investor looking for new opportunities or you are interested in the world of startups, then do not miss this summary with the highlights of the event.

The Next Web event provides a place where entrepreneurs, investors, media and innovative business people come together to inspire each other, learn from the best in the business and celebrate creativity and collaboration in the technology industry. One of the event's strengths is its careful selection of participants, ensuring that the content is relevant to attendees' expectations. Therefore, you can expect the presence of representatives from government institutions, startups, corporations, investors and accelerators.

This year and for the first time Valencia was the place chosen in Spain to hold the event, with more than 100 speakers, 2000 attendees and 90 exhibitors, the event was a success that exceeded the expectations of many.

The first thing that caught my attention, in addition to the Valencian beach, was that the spaces were very well defined and distributed, with three stages where the talks were given, two spaces for each startup to have its place, a stand where companies could show their solutions and give gifts of their brand, a food track for break times and lunch, and a ferry where you could also enjoy with professionals and speakers.

There were talks on technology, sustainability and other interesting topics that kept the audience captivated throughout the event.

Without a doubt the event app was a great help to get the most out of the event, it allowed attendees to have access to the entire agenda of the event, create their own personalized agenda by choosing the talks they wanted to attend and schedule meetings with professionals and speakers. This app was a great tool that allowed me not to miss anything I was interested in, and to connect with super top people.

But there were not only interesting talks, there was also space for pitch and feedback, something that Tetuan Valley knows how to do very well. Nowadays, it is essential for a startup to know how to present its project in an efficient and clear way, and at TNW València there were a lot of entrepreneurs who presented their projects to a panel of investors, media and industry leaders. The quality of the startups presented was very good, which made the panel of investors, media and industry leaders have the difficult task of selecting the finalists.

Another highlight of my experience was that I had the opportunity to meet the founders of the startup Uelz, two cracks who were Tetuan Valley alumni in the 2019 edition. They also participated in the pitch and feedback session and they were great. It was a joy to learn how they have grown and how they are carrying out their project, which is one of the most rewarding things about working in Tetuan Valley!

TNW València 2023 was a highly recommended event. The 100+ speakers, 90+ exhibitors and 2,000+ attendees from around the world came together in the Mediterranean city to celebrate what was an excellent union of the tech and business worlds. From the careful selection of speakers to the variety of spaces and activities available, this event was a testament to the great work being done by companies in the world of technology and innovation.

I would like to take this opportunity to give you 5 tips to make the most of this type of event, which I found very useful:

  1. Prepare your agenda in advance and attend the talks that are most relevant to you.

  2. Make the most of networking opportunities, meet other entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders.

  3. Download the event app to keep track of the agenda and important updates in real time.

  4. If you are a startup, be sure to participate in the pitch and feedback sessions and get valuable feedback about your project, and of course attract potential stakeholders, customers or investors.

  5. Visit the exhibition area where companies exhibit and learn about new technology solutions and emerging startups.

Personally, I felt honored to represent Tetuan Valley in this event and to have the opportunity to participate in the sessions.

I bring to campus new knowledge, valuable connections and a wealth of inspiration to continue working with you. I'm already looking forward to the next event!
