Origins.

Tetuan Valley was founded in 2009 by three entrepreneurs, when the word 'startup' was barely heard in Europe. There was a big problem in Madrid's almost non-existent tech entrepreneurship scene: entrepreneurs were alone. There were people with great ideas and people with a lot of talent, but there was no institution to unite them and no one to guide them in their projects.

The Tetuan Valley Startup School was born to do just that: help entrepreneurs in their first steps and bring like-minded people together.

The 1st edition of the Startup School was held in the fall of 2009 and since then we have held more than 25 editions.

Present and future.

What started with 3 people has now become the most active community of entrepreneurs in Europe, with more than 900 entrepreneurs who have gone through the program.

After more than 12 years of carrying out entrepreneurship programs, we now provide the Tetuan Valley mindset and methodology to different entities: Universities, corporations, city councils, schools... expanding and energizing the entrepreneurial ecosystem at an international level.
