The Tetuan Valley Startup School is the startup pre-acceleration program of reference in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In its last edition, more than 130 technology-based projects were presented, of which 12 were selected

For the first time in the history of the pre-accelerator, this was the edition with the highest number of projects founded and led by women. 8 of the 12 startups selected in this edition were founded or co-founded by women entrepreneurs. Among these startups we can find projects that create communities for women, others focused on finance for freelancers, and even a software that helps to better waste management.

Two of these eight startups are demonstrating how technology continues to be a great ally of sustainability. Yakk Yakk Humara is the largest rental andflexing platform in Spain. In the more social area we highlight these two great projects and their founders. ToTalk is founded by the entrepreneur Alba Mezcua, providing technical aids to enhance the speech process, currently the project is paused. Lazzaro is a startup created by Carlota Corzo and helps social organizations to go digital. Its mission is to evolve collaboration through new technologies.

From Tetuan Valley we encourage entrepreneurship in all communities. We seek to continue receiving many more projects founded by women to accompany them in their first steps with the acceleration program and have access to all the benefits of their community. Among the alumni startups founded by women entrepreneurs we also have great projects such as Uelz(formerly FixMe),Rated Power o PoiN.
