About the Women4cyber startup school program

The second edition of the program was launched in May of this year and, like the previous one, has allowed the graduated startups to receive intensive training on entrepreneurship. If you want to know more details about the methodology and training click here.

Supporting, giving visibility and promoting female entrepreneurship in this sector is the mission we share with Women4cyber Spain for the joint development of this program. What we are looking for is that women entrepreneurs who run their startups and seek to improve their skills in entrepreneurship, have more tools to develop their business proposals, validate their products in the market, improve their value proposition or establish connections to grow their project.

Demoday

Last Thursday, June 29th, the startups that were part of the program had the opportunity to show their business ideas and projects to investors and stakeholders at the demoday, the closing event, which took place at the Google for Startups Madrid Auditorium.

This event was a key opportunity for the development and growth of startups, where they were able to present their ideas in a dynamic way, in pitch format, capturing the attention of potential investors and strategic partners. Moreover, attendees were able to learn first-hand about trends and developments in the world of cybersecurity startups and discover new solutions and aspects of this fascinating world.

At the demoday we had the inspiring participation of Lorena Ionescu, Alumni of the first edition of W4C Startup School and Co-founder and COO of ByteHide, Izanami Martinez, founder of Soulgate Media, entrepreneur and speaker, who motivated and encouraged the finalists.

Collaborations

This second edition of Women4Cyber Startup School has had the collaboration and support of Banco Santander, Google for Startups, Elewit (Redeia's technology platform) and Watchguard, in its commitment to support the female entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to cybersecurity.

Their active participation as mentors and trainers and above all their trust were essential to the success of this initiative.

Conclusions

This edition has been a testament to the talent, creativity and potential of women entrepreneurs in cybersecurity, and we are proud to have been part of their journey to success. We are confident that these graduating startups will continue to make a difference and contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity, and we look forward to the positive impact they will have on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the future.

We are confident that they will continue to make great contributions to the field of cybersecurity, opening up new opportunities and breaking barriers in the industry.
