What does the program consist of?

W4C Startup School is a training and mentoring program designed to support startups and projects with solutions in the field of cybersecurity that have women on the team.

It consists of training sessions designed to provide founders and entrepreneurs with tools and resources.

During the program, the chosen startups will be accompanied and mentored by experienced entrepreneurs and international cybersecurity industry experts.

Training

A program designed by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, with the basic knowledge to make your project grow. Dynamic environment and startup methodology.

Mentoring

You will be accompanied by expert profiles in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship eager to help you solve all your doubts.

Community

Once you finish the program you will be part of an active community of more than 100 alumni who share experiences and help each other.

Collaborators

Collaborating in this program means helping to make more women's talent in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship visible.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We look for projects that solve problems in the cybersecurity environment to promote and accompany them in their initial phases.

    We ask that at least one member of the founding team be a woman, as we want to make diversity visible in the sector and support female entrepreneurs who wish to do so.

    The program is designed for both new projects and those seeking traction and visibility.

  • It is an intensive training that brings together in 6 weeks the essential topics to boost your project with emphasis on the value of an effective presentation for the final Demo Day.

    Sessions topics include: product validation, marketing and sales, sources of financing, legal basics or lean startup mindset.

    Throughout the program, the selected startups will be accompanied by mentors with experience in the cybersecurity sector.

    Subsequently, it will be possible to continue expanding the training within the open sessions of Tetuan Valley.

  • The next edition is scheduled for fall 2024 and lasts 6 weeks, including 4 face-to-face events.

    Each week there will be a specific training on entrepreneurship.

    We will dedicate a full day to the contact between mentors and projects, to make the most of the connection.

  • We accompany the startups before, during and after the program, as part of the Tetuan Valley and Women4Cyber spain community.

    Those selected will have access to:

    • Training sessions on entrepreneurship.

    • Mentor accompaniment and an exclusive Mentor Day event for selected projects.

    • Demo Day with the presence of investors and industry institutions.

    Perks from partners and collaborators valued at €150,000. These perks help startups to cover their first needs in areas such as cloud computing, payment platforms, access to financing...

    Access to the resources and programs of Google for Startups (official partner of the program).

    Direct access to the Tetuan Valley community with more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and mentors: Trainings, Discord, events, calls...

    The projects will have access to Hotdesk spaces at Google for Startups Campus Madrid.

  • Women4Cyber Spain (W4C Spain) is an initiative born with the aim of becoming a benchmark in the promotion and visibility of the role of women in cybersecurity in Spain, as well as gender diversity in the sector. It aims to build together a more secure and inclusive digital world.

    The Association is the Spanish chapter of Women4Cyber.eu, founded by the European Cybersecurity Organization (ECSO), and the first European-backed association of women in cybersecurity in Spain.

    Through different projects and initiatives, W4C Spain becomes a collaborative space where women in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry can share knowledge, experiences and network, as well as motivate other women to consider cybersecurity as a profession in which to develop and grow.
