Start of the 3rd Edition of W4C Startup School

This Monday, October 28th, we have started the III Edition of the W4C Startup School program, organized by Tetuan Valley in collaboration with the association Women4Cyber Spain.

This program is aimed at cybersecurity projects with women in the founding team. The main objective of W4C Startup School is, in addition to offering training to startups, to give visibility to female talent in a key sector.

With the Kickoff event of the program, we celebrated the beginning of this new edition. The attendees had the opportunity to enjoy two very interesting round tables with women experts and leading entrepreneurs. 

The first was on innovation and opportunities in cybersecurity and was moderated by Daniela KominskyDirector of Entrepreneurship at Women4Cyber, in which the following participated Elena García-Mascaraque SayaberaEcosystem Growth Manager at WatchGuard; Alexandra ChiforeanuSecurity Sales Engineer at BT Group; Marisol Oliva RodríguezRegional Sales Manager of Netskope; y Milena Patiño, Global Head of Intelligence & Contingency of BBVA.

While in the second panel, moderated by Nazareth Rodrigáñezour cybersecurity program coordinator, women entrepreneurs from previous editions shared their experience and their point of view. After listening to the panelists, we present the startups that have been selected to be part of this edition:

  4. Ciberin Security: Provides customized services and specialized training that empower businesses and professionals, helping them to confidently address current and emerging threats.

  5. Cyber&Go: Software that enhances email security with self-learning AI that identifies anomalies in each user's unique communication patterns, stopping both known and unknown threats pre-delivery and thus offering immediate protection.

  6. MINO: Cybersecurity services platform offering ASM, vulnerability scanning, continuous monitoring and pentesting for SMBs.

  7. Red Defender: Platform that protects critical information and systems to ensure the continuity of organizations and create confidence in the users of the use of technology.

  8. Steryon: Cyber resilience and risk management platform for cyber-physical systems (CPS), adapted to industrial infrastructures in critical sectors.

  9. Syndik8: Cyber intelligence platform to access information not available from traditional sources.

  10. The Sign Media: Digital media about cybersecurity on Earth and Space that aggregates news from industry experts.

  11. 89 Partners: Platform that connects cybersecurity service providers with companies that require them. They are classified by type and sector, according to the needs of the companies.
