The IV edition of W4C Startup School begins: The program that promotes women entrepreneurs in cybersecurity.
Kickoff of W4C Startup School IV
Last Thursday we welcomed the fourth edition of the W4C Startup School, the entrepreneurship program organized by Tetuan Valley together with Women4Cyber Spain that promotes female talent in the world of cybersecurity.
An edition that promises much: eight new projects, a community more consolidated than ever and the energy of an ecosystem that continues to grow thanks to the collaboration between entrepreneurs, corporations and industry professionals.
An afternoon to inspire and connect
The Kickoff, held at the Campus of Google for Startups Madridbrought together more than 50 people, including founders, mentors, experts and representatives of collaborating companies.
After the opening of the doors, the Tetuan Valley and Women4Cyber Spain team officially welcomed this new edition and presented the structure of the program: a six-week course that combines practical training, individual mentoring and direct connection with the cybersecurity entrepreneurship ecosystem.
In this edition we opted for a closer and more dynamic format: live interviews with people who are transforming the sector from the inside.
The first interview was conducted by Daniela KominskyCo-Director of Entrepreneurship at Women4Cyber Spainwho spoke with Jezer Ferreiraserial entrepreneur and co-founder of OSINTOMATICO. Jezer shared his story, talked about how his project came about and reflected on the real impact that startups can have on cybersecurity today.
The second interview was conducted by Agustina MilaniniInnovation Manager of Tetuan Valley, who spoke with Carlota Escolanoco-founder of Ciberin Foresight and alumni of the 3rd edition of W4C Startup School. Carlota shared with complete honesty her experience in the program, how it helped her to open doors and connect with the community, and what she has learned from her journey as a founder.
It was an inspiring moment that not only gave a voice to those who are building real solutions, but also showed the new participants that behind every project there is a story that deserves to be told.
