An evening to celebrate the impact of the W4C Startup School over the years.
Last September 24, we celebrated in the space of Madrid Digital a very special cocktail: a meeting that brought together mentors, collaborators, students and the organizing team of all the editions of W4C Startup School, the program that we promote together with Women4Cyber Spain to support female founders in cybersecurity.
It was a unique opportunity to share experiences, take stock of the road travelled and continue weaving a support network around the women entrepreneurs who are transforming the sector.

An ecosystem around cybersecurity
Round Table "From Idea to Global Market: The Founder and Investor Perspective".
Beyond an entrepreneurship program, W4C Startup School has established itself as a diverse and engaged community. During the cocktail, the voices of alumnae, mentors and collaborators all agreed on one idea: the value of having a safe and specialized space where women founders can grow, find mentors and access real opportunities in the cybersecurity ecosystem.
As Daniela Kominsky Daniela Kominskysaid, "life is about finding the best partners," a phrase that reflects the importance of the community that is generated around the program.
In the same line, María Tabernafounder and CEO of Steryon and alumni of the III edition of the program, stressed that "talking to many people and collecting feedback, even when your product is not yet perfect, helps you to know where to focus and what opportunities you have to continue growing".
The impact in images
One of the most special moments of the evening was the screening of a video that captures the impact of the program throughout its three editions. A visual testimony that shows how the W4C Startup School program is helping to build a more just and resilient future in the cybersecurity sector.
Thanks to those who make it possible
None of this would be possible without the support of our partners, who have accompanied us on this journey during the three editions of the program with the conviction that innovation is the main driver of competitiveness and change.
Collaborating entities along the 4 editions of the W4C Startup School program
And this year, in the IV edition of W4C Startup School we have the following collaborators, whom we would like to thank for their trust and support:
Premium: Google for Startups, ZScaler, Netskope
Gold: Watchguard
We would also like to thank Red Seguridad who participated as media partner of this special evening, helping us to amplify the message and give visibility to the entrepreneurial talent in cybersecurity.
"We have to believe it. We have leading companies, talent and very interesting projects, such as the one we are celebrating today," remarked Carolina Bouvardof WA4STEAM.
Looking to the future

The cocktail was not only a celebration, but also a glimpse of what is to come. The strength of the community and the support of our collaborators encourage us to continue growing and to prepare new editions that will reach even further.
As pointed out by Javier Muñozof ICEXsaid, "it is a sector in which data is still not abundant and real needs are not well communicated, and that makes it difficult to reach other markets. Even so, the trend is changing".
In addition, Javier recalled how "in ENISE last year, more than 80 international investors participated, something unthinkable a few years ago. Every time they find better technologies, solid companies and attractive valuations. Our challenge is to link cybersecurity and Spanish technology with the idea of quality."
For companies looking to invest in innovation, diversity and social impact, W4C Startup School is a real opportunity to be part of a change with tangible results.
With each edition, we reinforce the conviction that supporting women entrepreneurs in cybersecurity is not only a matter of equity, but a strategic commitment to the future of the sector.
