ScaleUp School: The 10 selected startups of the II Edition
This week we have started the second and last edition of ScaleUp School, the acceleration program that we organize together with INCIBE - National Cybersecurity Institute.
This project is part of the funds for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - financed by the European Union - and the European Commission.funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU and promoted by the Government of Spain, which promotes the modernization of the economy, job creation and digital transformation of the country.
What is ScaleUp School?
ScaleUp School was created with the objective of supporting startups that already have some traction in the market and customers, and are in the growth phase. The program offers teams specialized training, personalized mentoring and connections with investors, always from the hand of entrepreneurs and experts with real experience in the ecosystem.
Over the next few weeks, participating startups will receive:
50 hours of training in key areas such as culture and talent, marketing, sales, product, technology, cybersecurity and finance;
40 hours of mentoring with founders and reference specialists;
Up to 10 hours of digital marketing consulting;
Up to 30 hours of legal advice adapted to the challenges of scaleup.
The program also includes an Investor Day, where startups will connect with a network of selected investors, and a final Demo Day to showcase their progress.

A Kickoff with inspiration
Javier Martínez de Velasco from Artgonuts
The opening event of this edition not only served to welcome the new startups to the Tetuan Valley community, but also to hear first-hand the experience of an alumni of the program.
Javier Martínez de Velascoco-founder of Artgonutsa platform that works closely with cultural organizations to connect them with art and culture enthusiasts through technology, shared how his time at ScaleUp School in 2024 impacted the evolution of the project and allowed his team to consolidate key learnings to scale their business. His testimony was tangible proof of the value that this program brings to participating startups.
Something very inspiring that Javier shared was the following:
"It is very much appreciated when people are honest, honest and tell it like it is, because that creates real bonds. And those of you who are entering Tetuan Valley are going to understand how important it is to come back every time you have the opportunity and lend a hand to those who are going through what you are going through."
Thus, Javier underlined the relevance of the community in Tetuan Valley, highlighting how this spirit of collaboration and mutual support is what allows entrepreneurs not only to grow, but also to come back again and again to share learnings and help each other.
A customized platform: Elevatorfy
In addition, in this edition we have the collaboration of Elevatorfywhich has made available to the program its fully customized platform for training. We are very pleased to add this tool to the process, as it will allow teams to access content and resources in a more structured and dynamic way. During the Kickoff, Luis FernandezCEO and founder of Elevatorfy, conducted a live tutorial showing the teams and attendees how to use each section of the platform, resolving doubts and guiding them in its operation.
